Due to a change in FCRA compliance requirements, there has been a slight change in the language regarding the way NO RECORDS appear on reports.
In accordance with this new law, No Record’ has been changed to “No reportable Records.”
This will not change what information is being reported ty you
This is mainly because “No Record” indicates that there is a lack of records, whereas in many cases, there are records present, but they simply cannot be reported and/or used due to federal law – obsolescence rules and reporting restrictions, jurisdictional laws/restrictions, etc.
Because Multi-State records will never be reported without verification of records at county and state level, this updated verbiage will only apply to county and state level criminal searches.
To clarify further this DOES NOT change what is being reported to you, only how a ‘clear’ result is being reported.
Our Automated Employment Screening provides an applicant controlled process that allows FCRA compliant background check forms, including Electronic Chain-Of-custody forms and releases to be completed online by the applicant.
We provide several short videos to easily acquaint you with the system.
This makes the background check process fast and easy.
